Welcome back and we hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. Wishing you lots of good energy and luck for the New Year! Please find below this week’s Weekly Update!
Letter of the Week – Our chosen letter for our next session is ‘l’! Please can your child bring in an item which has an ‘l’.
Makaton – Our chosen sign will be ‘no’.
Playhouse Activities This Week – This week we have been painting with rollers, we’ve been chalking and we’ve done some number puzzles. We’ve also been working on kindness and sharing. Richard came int o see us on Tuesday and his theme was friendship and sharing too!
Forest School This Week – We read Spikes Best Nest and talked about how we look after birds in winter. We listened to the birds and made a cheerio bird feeder. We also filled up the bird feeders ready for the weekend and finished our activities by blowing bubbles!
Playhouse Activities Next Week – Next week our nursery rhyme will be the Three Little Pigs and Little Piggy. We will also make pig biscuits.

RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch – If you would like to get involved the Big Garden Birdwatch is the 25th – 27th January. Take a look at:https://www.rspb.org.uk/get-involved/activities/birdwatch/
Packed Lunches – Most of your children are struggling to open items in their packed lunches. We are encouraging all the children to be independent so if you could look at any alternatives to the yogurt pouches below, yogurt tubes and containers, that would be great! Please include any items they can open themselves. Thank you.
