Letter of the Week – Our chosen letter for our next session is ‘g’! Please can your child bring in an item which has a ‘g’.
Makaton – Our chosen sign will be ‘stop’.
Playhouse Activities This Week – This week we have started our Christmas activities, cards, calendars and baubles. We’ve been roller painting, bingo and using the parachute for games. We’ve been observing the ice and how it freezes and melts.
Forest School This Week – This week we have talked about winter. We read the Emperors Egg. We did some experiments with ice and looked at ‘what makes it melt’. We also made Xmas tree cones with pipe cleaners and bells.
Playhouse Activities Next Session – Next week we will be decorating gingerbread, we will have our Christmas Post Office. We also have a visit to the Church on Wednesday. We will put a Christmas card list in your child’s folder … we thought this might help! Please post any cards in our Playhouse post box.
Phonic Workshops – In the New Year we will be putting on some phonic workshops. We have observed some children telling others incorrect phonic sounds. This is offered to all our Preschool children as it helps to develop their speech.
