Please find below this week’s Weekly Update!
Letter of the Week – Our chosen letter for our next session is ‘h’! Please can your child bring in an item which has a ‘h’.
Makaton – Our chosen sign will be ‘Grandad’.
Playhouse Activities This Week – This week we continued with the space theme. We have made rockets, including fruit rockets and planets. We have investigated the solar system and have had lots of space themed activities. We have had space sensory play with moon sand and playdough.
Forest School This Week – This week we in our Forest School the children have been looking at apples. Their shape, colour, size and smell. We cut them and pressed them into juice. We talked about the life cycle from seed to tree and how to look after them. After that we explored the patterns they make with paint.
Playhouse Activities Next Session – Next week we will start our practising for our Christmas activities. There will be some songs coming home for your child to practice. Our theme will be ‘Going on a Bear Hunt’, caring for our teeth and kindness!
Children in Need – We will celebrate Children in Need on Friday 15th November – your child can dress down, dress up or just wear something different .. all for a donation to this great charity!
World Kindness Day – This is being held on the 13th November 2019. It is a day to celebrate and promote kindness in all its forms.
Class Fundraising – Xmas Gifts and cards. Please ensure all order forms are completed and returned to us by Friday 15th November. You will need to make your payment for your order by BACS into our bank account, please use your ‘child’s name’ and ‘Class’ as your reference. If we have not received payment by the 15th November, your order WILL NOT be placed. There are NO exceptions.
