Dear Parents / Carers
This Week in the OOSC – This week we had lots of dough activities. We made cloud dough and play dough. We also enjoyed lots of water play outside in the garden. Even Mrs S joined in and played her water game too! On Wednesday we used some of the lovely flowers from our garden to make arrangements.
Next Sessions in the OOSC – Next week will be our last week of term and we’ll saying ‘goodbye’ and ‘good luck’ to some of our children. On Tuesday we will have our End of Term Party and we’ll be having pizza’s and lots of water play. For the rest of the week, we’ll be making the most of the weather with lots of outdoor team games.
Evening snacks – The children have very kindly given us a list of their favourite snacks and we’ll be selecting snacks from the list every two weeks. We always offer a snack to every child but they don’t always fancy it .. if it is important that your child has a snack please tell a member of staff and we will ensure a snack is eaten. Here is their snack selection: pasta / wraps / hot dogs / make your own pizza / tomato soup / cheese & crackers / fruit salad / fish fingers / bacon sandwiches / crumpets / pineapple pizza.
Children’s Noticeboard – Just to let you know the children have an OOSC noticeboard in the office and this is where they can add any requests for activities they enjoy. We use the children’s ideas all the time for our planning in the OOSC.
Playhouse Facebook – If you use Facebook, you can see what’s happening in the OOSC by logging onto the Playhouse facebook page, we update this each week!

Come & Share – Do you know anyone who lives locally that could spare us some time? Any grandparents, friends … would they like to share a story, bake, woodwork or other activities.? Please let us know.
