We wanted to give you a special update from Amanda on our activities within our Forest School today.
Our theme this week was Hapa Zome – Calico Printing.
We made our own natural flags by hammering flowers and leaves onto calico material. The children looked at similarities and differences in nature and then created their own symmetrical patterns.

The children created some great patterns.
This activity helps children in making their own choices, exploring their own ideas and encourages turn taking. There are are links to maths, communication, exploration of colours and using their senses.
