Dear Parents / Carers

Please find below this week’s Weekly Update!

Letter of the Week – Our chosen letter for our next session is t! Please can your child bring in an item which has a ‘t’!

Makaton – This is a language using signs and symbols; we are going to learn is ‘hug / cuddle’.

Playhouse Activities This Week – This week our role play has been all about hunting for dinosaurs in the cave and keeping an eye on the volcano. We have been learning new nursery rhymes and digging for dinosaur bones in the garden. On Monday David and Oona came to see us and we learnt about blindness and how a guide dog helps a blind person. The library bus came to visit and we selected some new books to read at preschool.

Playhouse Activities Next Session – Next week we will be making Mothers and Grandmother cards. We will have a visit form the Police on Monday and our role play will be police investigations. We will be learning about Spring, we’ll go on shape hunts and we’ll be doing some maths problem solving. We also have our church visit on Friday and we need some parents to walk to church with us and the children. Can you help? On Tuesday we have Dance with Sally.

Saturday 30th March – Easter Fayre – we STILL need your help with Raffle prizes, second hand books, wrapped sweets and cakes. Please let us know if you can help!

Have a lovely
