PRESCHOOL NEWSLETTER – 26th June 2026

By June 26, 2026Uncategorized

Dear Parents and Carers

It has been an extremely hot week, and the children have coped brilliantly with the warm weather. We have worked hard to keep everyone as cool and comfortable as possible by enjoying lots of water play, spending time in shaded areas, and making sure the children stayed well hydrated throughout the day.

Due to the heat, we only managed to complete one batch of bread making this week. With cooler weather forecast for next week, we are looking forward to getting back to plenty of kneading, baking, and enjoying our bread-making activities!

Reception Children 2026

We are pleased to let you know that Reception teacher Mrs Challis will be visiting the children who are moving up to school on Monday 29th June at 1:30pm to read a story.

If your child is not attending preschool that day, you are very welcome to pop in and join us for the story session. Please let us know if you would like to attend.

I am also arranging a transition session with Mrs Donaldson on a Thursday. As soon as I have a confirmed date and time, I will let you know.

We will be letting you know very soon what we will be purchasing for the children to enjoy with the funds raised. We can’t wait to share the exciting news with you!

Thank you for your continued support, and we hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
