This week, we have been learning all about fireworks โ how exciting they are to watch and how to keep safe around them. We explored the loud crackles and pops and talked about how animals can feel scared at this time of year . The children have enjoyed lots of creative firework-themed activities too!
Weโve also been developing our fine motor skills through some fantastic sewing fun. The children showed amazing concentration and creativity!
Coming Up Next Weekโฆ
Itโs Nursery Rhyme Week! Weโll be taking part in exciting activities based on some of our favourite rhymes.
Also, we will be celebrating Children In Need throughout the week. Children are welcome to come dressed in spots, yellow, Pudsey or Blush on any day! We kindly ask for a ยฃ1.00 donation to support this wonderful charity โ thank you for your generosity.
Preschool Start Times
We kindly ask for your help in ensuring children arrive by 9:00am each morning. Our gates open at 8:55am. Arriving on time means children can join in circle time โ an important part of our routine where we greet each other, share the dayโs activities, and build confidence.
Late arrivals can disrupt this special start to the day, so your help is truly appreciated .Your support helps keep our mornings calm, happy, and productive.
Cold Weather Reminder
As the days get colder, please make sure your child comes to preschool with warm coats, hats, and gloves to keep cosy outside
We hope you all have a wonderful weekend and we canโt wait to see you again next week for more adventures!
Warm wishes,
The Preschool Team
