We’ve had such a busy & exciting week at preschool, filled with learning, and adventures both indoors & outdoors! Here’s a peek at what we’ve been up to…
Pizza-Making Fun
This week, the children became mini chefs!
They explored where food comes from Rolled out the dough (lots of texture talk!). Sprinkled on the cheese & spread the tomato. This activity not only filled the room with yummy smells but also:
Boosted fine motor skills
Sparked creativity
Encouraged independence
If your little one hasn’t made their pizza yet—no worries! We’ll be continuing this delicious activity next week too.
Forest School Adventures
Out in our magical Forest School, the children had so much fun exploring conkers! They rolled them in paint & across paper to make beautiful artwork. They practiced using a palm drill to carefully make holes. Then, they threaded them—perfect for building concentration & coordination. The children were so proud of their creations!
Looking Ahead
Next week, we’ve got more exciting things planned:
- Continue pizza-making fun for everyone
- Start building our very own bug hotel
- Help sweep up the autumn leaves & create a cosy space for any sleepy hibernating hedgehogs
