What We Did This Week
This week has been full of fun, learning, and teamwork!
- Parachute Play – The children worked together in group games, building cooperation and listening skills.
- Ring Games – We practiced moving to music, taking turns, and following instructions.
- Nursery Rhymes – Singing and learning new rhymes is helping with memory, rhythm, and early language skills.
- Healthy Teeth – Using our giant teeth model, the children practiced brushing and learned:
- We brush our teeth twice a day – morning and bedtime.
- Brushing keeps our teeth strong and healthy.
- Visiting the dentist helps us keep our smiles bright!
Looking Ahead to Next Week
Here’s what we’ll be exploring together:
- Pizza Making – Hands-on cooking fun, encouraging creativity and independence.
- Size Ordering – Sorting items from big to small and small to big.
- Shape Recognition – Learning to name and sort circles, squares, triangles, and more.
Try This at Home
You can support your child’s learning this week by:
- Asking them to show you how to brush their teeth like they practiced in class.
- Singing their favourite nursery rhyme together before bedtime.
Looking around your home for shapes and sizes (“Can you find the biggest spoon? Which toy is a circle?”).
