June Highlights
Wow, what a hot month! The sunshine brought so much fun to OOSC!
Water Play Galore! The children cooled down with tons of water fun – splashing, squirting, and laughing all the way!
Summer Cookery Club – We kept it cool in the kitchen with no-oven recipes:
Ladybird biscuits / Strawberry milkshakes / Banana splits / DIY ice cream cones with ALL the toppings / Colourful fruit kebabs
Creative Vibes in Art Club – The children have been little artists!
Ribbon clouds – stunning in the trees / Pipe cleaner butterflies / DIY shrinkies / Fold-up fans for the hot days / Weaving wonders
STEM-tastic Challenges! – The children explored, built, and experimented:
Lollipop stick structures & LEGO bridges / Domino toppling fun / Messy play: slime, cloud dough 🍦, and frog ponds / Animal hand wash + bubble bonanza!
July Highlights
Cookery Club Delights – Mini afternoon teas fit for royalty and delicious ice cream sundaes made July extra sweet!
Art for the OOSC Party! – The children got crafty making: Their very own piñatas / Beautiful decorative flowers for the playhouse
More Science Fun! –Dancing popcorn with fizzing vinegar & water reactions / LEGO landmarks from around the world / Obstacle course adventures had the children running, jumping, and laughing nonstop!
