Dear Parents / Carers
Playhouse Activities This Week – This week has been another busy week! Pancake day was very exciting with lots of pancake flipping. Please have a look at our Facebook page, there is an excellent action video! We all enjoyed a tasty pancake after all our hard work. Ice Painting: there was lots of interest with painting on ice. The children observed that the paint dried instantly because the ice was so cold. The parachute was great fun this week, we had lots of fun and games. Cleaning our teeth was our hot topic, talking about foods that are good for our teeth. We practiced on our large tooth model.
Forest School – This week we continued with our sawing as this has been extremely popular! We have been sawing through a very long piece of wood and all of the children really persevered wanting to cut all the way through to have their own piece of the wood!
Playhouse Activities Next Week – Don’t forget you can dress up in your favourite book character on Thursday 2nd March for World Book Day – this is completely optional and please don’t feel you need to buy a costume especially for this day! There will be more talk about animals and caring for them. We will be playing with sand putty and a dinosaur swamp. We will be starting to create our new bug hotels.
Dates for your Diary – Here are details of ley dates for your diary:
Friday 17th March – Red Nose Day for Comic Relief. Wear something red and donate to this great charity!
