Welcome back, everyone! We hope you had a lovely break. It’s been wonderful to see all our children return – plus a big warm welcome to our new joiners. We hope the children have had a joyful week full of fun and learning!
This Week’s Adventures
We’ve been practicing our scissor skills with Autumn cutting sheets. Our story of the week was We’re Going on a Bear Hunt – the children LOVED it! They explored the story through sensory play and went on their very own bear hunts. There’s also been lots of role play with babies and pushchairs – what amazing imaginations we’ve seen!
Coming Up Next Week
We’ll be planning activities based on each child’s interests . A few things to look forward to:
Making colourful shape collages. Activities to build fine motor skills (like cutting practice ). Lots of child-led play and creativity!
Friendly Reminders
Please bring in a pair of wellies so we can enjoy the outdoors in all weather! A pair of slippers too for indoor comfort.
Important Information
Please don’t forget to let us know if something has happened at home so that we can support your child during their time at the Playhouse . For example: if they haven’t slept well or had a late night or spent time away from parents
This helps us make sure your child feels happy, safe, and cared for while they are with us .
