Our adventures at the Playhouse this week …
We’ve had a busy and exciting week in preschool!
This week, we began learning about African animals and exploring the country of Africa. The children have really enjoyed discovering the different animals and their habitats.
We also went on a Spring Scavenger Hunt, where we looked for signs of spring around our outdoor area — budding flowers, bird feathers, and bright green leaves were some of the highlights!

Playhouse Summer trip …
Please look out for a letter in your child’s bag about our upcoming summer trip to Sacrewell Farm, it will take place on Thursday June 19th.
We are all very excited and looking forward to a fun-filled day!
Transition to School in September…
For children moving on to school in September, we are sending home a guide on how to support your child to be school-ready. If you haven’t yet informed us of the school your child will be attending, please let us know as soon as possible.
Sun Safety …
As the weather is warming up, please ensure your child has sunscreen applied before arriving at preschool. Also, send sunscreen in their bag so we can reapply it during the day.
Don’t forget to include a sun hat as well!
