Our adventures at the Playhouse this week…
The children have really enjoyed learning about our letter of the week: ‘A’ They’ve been making connections between the sound and words like apple, arm, and even their friends names!
Next week, we will move on to the letter B.We also explored Chinese New Year, learning that red symbolises luck and that the New Year brings change and a fresh start just like a spring clean!
One of our favourite activities this week was going on a bear hunt in the garden. The children had so much fun acting out the story that they decided to go on a giant spider hunt next!
We’re looking forward to another fun and exciting week with learning and discovery at The Playhouse!

Letter of the week: B
We will practice teeth cleaning and learning about good oral hygiene and what happens if we don’t take care of our teeth.
Woodwork, we will be introducing tool safety and simple woodworking activities.
We will use our fine motor skills, focusing on pincer grip development through fun activities.

We have a bag full of lost gloves and hats; if your child is missing anything, please check with us. To help us keep track, we kindly ask that you label all items with your child’s name.
Thank you to those who have provided wipes and bags in your child’s bags. If you haven’t yet, please send some in, as we prefer to use wipes from home to avoid skin sensitivities.
