Our adventures at the Playhouse this week…
This week, we have been exploring Arctic animals, learning about the different types and their habitats.
The children had so much fun with the parachute—there was plenty of laughter!
We also talked about caring for birds during the cold weather, made pinecone bird feeders, and enjoyed watching the birds’ feast.
Please remember to dress your child warmly as temperatures remain cold.
We’re looking forward to another fun and exciting week with learning and discovery at The Playhouse!
Thank you for your continued support!

Next week …
Next week, we will be baking cupcakes, acting out The Three Billy Goats Gruff, and creating our own goats! We will be creating our very own version of ‘We’re going on a Bear Hunt’.

Hand, Foot & Mouth …
Hand, Foot & Mouth is a contagious infection. It doesn’t usually pose a serious threat to a child’s health but, it can be unpleasant, particularly for younger children. Typical symptoms include cold-like symptoms: loss of appetite, cough and moderately high temperature, a sore throat and mouth and a non-itchy red rash that develops on the hands, fingers, feet, knees, elbows, groin and buttocks (the spots and blisters can become itchy and uncomfortable), painful mouth ulcers and tummy pain.
Hand, Foot & Mouth is highly contagious until about a week after the symptoms begin.
Your child does not need to be absent from Preschool unless poorly.

A few Reminders
Please ensure your child has baby wipes and nappy bags in their bag. This helps us keep faces clean and store any dirty or wet clothes.
Wellies are essential for every session at the moment .. it’s very muddy!
