Dear Parents / Carers
A Message from Lucy – Thank you so much for your support over this year, it has been very different. We have all adjusted well and it is amazing how resilient the children are! Have a lovely Christmas and New Year!
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Testing positive for COVID – If you or your child tests positive for COVID during the Christmas Break, you must notify us by email. We need to report any cases to our Early Years Team for Track & Trace purposes and where required, we will notify parents, carers and staff if they need to self-isolate. This is really important to ensure that we can keep each other, our families and our staff safe this Christmas and into the new year. We appreciate your help.
This Week – It has been a busy last week in OOSC this week. We have had two Christmas parties – KS2 on Tuesday and KS1 on Wednesday. The children enjoyed party games, dancing and lots of party food and sweets! We have also had other Christmas activities and games taking place such as build a snowman relay races and making tube snowmen and Santa’s. On Friday afternoon we will be finishing the week making Christmas table decorations.
Next Term – In January we will be carrying out junk modelling, this has been requested by the children. Please save all your recycling, we will then quarantine until we can use it safely. We will also concentrate on mindfulness.
Xmas Raffle & Hamper winners – The winners of our Xmas Hampers, are detailed below. A HUGE thank you to everyone taking part, from the lovely donations to parents & friends buying tickets. We sold an amazing 135 tickets! It was lovely to hear from our winners .. Mum has told us that she asked the boys what they would like to do with their £20 voucher (included in the Hamper), the boys told her that they didn’t need anything and wanted to donate it to the local Food Bank. Niki and the boys spent the voucher and promptly dropped off the donations!
