Dear Parents / Carers
This Week in the OOSC – This week we have been busy having our team building week. We held a hoola hooping challenge. We also enjoyed the Cheerio’s competition and managed to eat the cheerio’s too! Outside we made our obstacle courses and also built towers. We’ve had the snooker table out this week.
Next Sessions in the OOSC – Next week we will be having a first aid week! We will practice first aid on each other and will be learning about basic first aid.
Evening snacks – Here is our snack selection: pasta / wraps / hot dogs / make your own pizza / tomato soup / cheese & crackers / fruit salad / fish fingers / bacon sandwiches / crumpets / pineapple pizza.
Invoices Autumn Term – Please accept our sincere apologies for the delay of your Autumn term invoices, it’s been a very busy start to this term! Invoices are still being issued. First instalments will be due on 30th September (Monday).
No Cash – Just a reminder that if you are paying for items for the Playhouse, please make your payments by BACS as we are no longer accepting cash. Thank you for your help!
Change of Circumstances – Just a polite reminder and an update for our new parents to the Breakfast & OOSC … If you child has a session booked in the Early Bird, Breakfast Club or the OOSC and they won’t be attending, please can you let us know. This is to ensure we comply with our safeguarding procedures and ensures we know the whereabouts of your child when circumstances change. Sam is in the office on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9.00am – 3.00pm (2.15pm on a Friday) and you can drop her an email. If it’s last minute or on a Tuesday and Thursday it is always best to give us a call on 01733 253243 and speak to a member of staff. Thank you.
Thank you – St Botolphs Church have kindly donated £540.13 to the Playhouse as proceeds from the Helpston Gala. Thank you to all of you who supported the gala this year and the church for this fantastic donation.
Feedback OOSC Questionnaire – Thank you to all parents who kindly responded to our Questionnaire. We’ve attached a summary of findings although only 37% of parents responded.
Feedback – We always value your impromptu feedback. Here are some great comments from one of our new parents – My child is loving it, thank you for making him feel so welcome. Your garden looks fab btw … great for children to see that veg grows, I’m a farmer’s daughter, so I think it’s very important.
Have a lovely weekend!
Kind regards
The Playhouse Team
