Dear Parents / Carers
We’ve decided to have a change to the menu and how we organise our snacks next term, sometimes the ‘use by’ dates don’t always fall in line with the days we have planned snacks! From the beginning of next term we will select snacks on a weekly basis so there will be variety, as now but, we won’t publish specific snacks on specific days, this will give us a bit more flexibility … we hope this makes sense!
Evening snacks – Here is a sample of the snacks available:
Toasted sandwiches / pasta with tuna & sweetcorn or tomato sauce / Wraps with tuna, cheese or eggs / Hot dogs / cheese & crackers / alpha bites & spaghetti hoops / fish fingers & beans / beans on toast / crumpets
There is a salad bar and fruit available to your children. They also have a choice of milk or water to drink.
This Week in the OOSC – This week we have had lots of Easter themed activities; we’ve had an Easter colouring competition & we’ve made Easter baskets and filled them with chocolate. All those taking part in the colouring competition won a small Easter Egg and our competition winners received a larger Easter Egg ; the winners are:
Older children: Annabelle Peat & Harry Collins
Younger children: Dylan Anderson & Ruairi McCloskey
Next Sessions in the OOSC – Next term we will be having a post office for our role play. The children will be able to design their own stamps. We will also be planting in the garden.
