Dear Parents / Carers
Please find below this week’s Weekly Update!
Letter of the Week – Our chosen letter for our next session is ‘a’! Please can your child bring in an item which has an ‘a’!
Makaton – This is a language using signs and symbols; we are going to learn is ‘drink’.
Playhouse Activities This Week – This week we have had a Garden centre theme for our role play. We’ve been clearing the garden and planting bulbs. We’ve been rhyming and we’ve made lambs and we have also planted cress. Thank you for your donation to Comic Relief, you’ve raised £28.05. Thank you. It was lovely to see lots of red for Red Nose Day .. there were some great ‘noses’ too! We’ve also made a craft picture for our display, this included rainbows, lambs and butterflies.
Playhouse Activities Next Session – Next week our role play will be a cave. We will have dinosaurs and a bone hunt. On Monday David will be visiting with his guide dog, you are more than welcome to attend but please be at the Playhouse at 9.50am. Thank you. We will continue planting cress to make sure every child has done this activity.
Water Bottles – Please remember to take your child’s water bottle home every day to wash it. Please can you make sure the bottle is named. Thank you for your help.
A few diary dates – Here are a few dates for your diary:
Friday 29th March – Easter Service at St Botolph’s Church. Please come along and join us for our Easter Service at the village church. Family and friends are more than welcome, the more the merrier.
Saturday 30th March – Easter Fayre – we need your help with Raffle prizes, second hand books, wrapped sweets, cakes and volunteers. Please let us know if you can help!
Thank you – First Aid Training – A HUGE ‘Thank you’ to Chris who came into the Playhouse last night to give us and some parents First Aid Training. Thank you to those who attended last night, we hope you found this useful.
