Dear Parents / Carers
Please find below this week’s Weekly Update!
Letter of the Week – Our chosen letter for our next session is ‘a’! Please can your child bring in an item which has an ‘a’!
Playhouse Activities This Week – This week has been another busy week in the Playhouse. We’ve been painting self-portraits and have been learning about what makes us special! We’ve also been busy learning new nursery rhymes. Everyone has settled in really well!
Playhouse Activities Next Sessions – Next week we are going to enjoy mathematical thinking and will have various activities around this theme. We’ll continue to talk ‘All about ourselves’ and have loved seeing your lovely pictures of pets and family. We will also be making pizza to fit in with our mathematical activities!
Dates for your diary:
Playhouse AGM – 21st September – we need volunteers; can you spare any time to join the committee? If you can and would like to be involved, please speak to Amy Ellis. We can’t run the Playhouse if we can’t fulfil key Committee roles and any help you can give, is very much appreciated.
Individual Photographs – Friday 6th October, the session is from 12.30pm – 2.45pm.
Preschool Christmas Songs – 12th December – Please join us for Christmas songs, mince pies & Christmas crafts.
Christmas Party – 19th December – The Playhouse Christmas Party
Volunteer – Do you or do you know a family member or friend who enjoys gardening and has any spare time on a regular basis? We are looking for someone to help with the Playhouse garden, we’re very flexible and can offer lots of tea and biscuits. If you can help, please speak to Lucy. Thank you.
Mud Kitchen – We would love to make a new mud kitchen, do you have an old sink, decking, wood… anything that we can use to build a new mud kitchen for the Playhouse children. The children love to play outside on this type of activity. Thank you.
Hot Lunches – Just a reminder that hot lunches need to be booked and paid for on a Monday morning.
We hope you all have a lovely weekend!
Kind regards
The Playhouse Team
