Welcome to this week’s Weekly Update for the OOSC.
Evening snacks – Here is the snack menu for our next sessions:
Monday – Pitta bread with fillings
Tuesday –Jacket potatoes
Wednesday –Tomato Soup
Thursday – Spaghetti hoops on wholemeal toast
Friday – Whole wheat pasta and sauce
There is a choice of salad sticks and fruit available to your children. They also have a choice of milk or water to drink.
Next Sessions in the OOSC – We will continue with some Halloween activities and we’ll also try our new Kelly Kettle to make some hot chocolate outside.
This Week in the OOSC – We’ve celebrated Diwali. We’ve made Rangola patterns and diva lamps to celebrate the festival of lights! We’ve also designed pumpkins and we all picked 3 winners, a big well done to all those taking part! 1st Erin Nicolson 2nd Phoebe Walker 3rd Maisy Plant
Thank you – A very ‘Big thank you’ to Lacey for her donations of her Disney teddies, everyone is really enjoying playing with them here in the OOSC.
Your help – After half term the OOSC will be making Christmas cakes. Please can you save any small baked bean or spaghetti tins for this activity! Thank you.
Xmas Fundraising – Bags – This year we have decided to take part in additional fundraising with personalised shopping bags, these will be designed by your children so will make great Xmas gifts for friends and family. The bags come in two sizes and we have examples in the Playhouse, they will be £6.00 & £7.00 each. If any friends and family would like a go, please let us know and you can take away extra templates, we will then submit these with our order!
