Letter & Sound of the Week – Our chosen letter for our next session will be ‘t’. Please can your child bring in an item which has a ‘t’!
Colour of the Week – Our next colour is red. Please can your child bring in a red item to share with us at Circle time!
Playhouse Activities This Week – We’ve continued with our Nursery Rhymes, Autumn and Harvest. We’ve been reading Jack & the beanstalk! The children have been playing ‘turn taking’ games and have been practising their ICT skills on the lap top and camera. We made delicious leek and potato soup; the children enjoyed taste testing! They have also spent time junk modelling!
Playhouse Activities Next Week – We are going to look at the story of the Three Billy Goats Gruff! Next week we’ll be vegetable painting and we’ll will take the children on an Autumn Walk in the village.
Children in Need – Friday 18th November – We are having a Spotacular Day , please can your child dress in something spotty and bring in £1 for a fun, spotty, fund raising day for this charity event.
Upcoming events in Preschool:
Harvest Week – this week we will be collecting tinned foods for the Soup Kitchen, these volunteers provide food for the homeless and disadvantaged living in Peterborough. Please can you donate a tin or two! For more information: http://www.peterboroughsoupkitchen.org.uk/
Diwali Celebrations, 17th October – we will celebrate the Festival of light
Halloween activites, 31st October – Children to dress up in their spooky Halloween outfits
Xmas Party, 21st December – more information will follow nearer the time

Halloween Party, 29th October 2016; adults only, please see Alexa Hall for more details, this is great way to raise funds for Preschool so please come and join us.
Christmas Fayre, Saturday 10th December 11.00am – 1.00pm, save the date!
