Welcome to this week’s Weekly Update for the OOSC.
Evening snacks – Here is the snack menu for our next session:
Monday – Scrambled egg on wholemeal toast
Tuesday – Baked Beans on wholemeal toast
Wednesday – Whole wheat pasta with sauce
Thursday – Jacket Potatoes
Friday – Toasted savoury muffins
There is a choice of salad sticks and fruit available to your children. They also have a choice of milk or water to drink.
Next Week in the OOSC – We are having a parent visitor next week. Kirsty Vigus-Humphrey (Hennie’s Mum) will be calling in to help the children make lemon curd. We’ll also be making meringues.
This Week in the OOSC – We had a fantastic time this week using our woodworking skills and we’ve also been doing some whittling.
Easter Fayre – Saturday 19th March 11.00am – 1.00pm – We need you…. Can you help with any of the following….:
- Donations for the Raffle and Tombola
- Do you work for a company or know anyone who would like to donate a substantial prize for our Raffle, if you do, please can you speak to a member of the Committee. Thank you.
- Bake a cake – Would you like to bake a cake for our Cake stall!
- ‘Nearly new stall’ for toys and books – Do you have any toys or books you could donate for our ‘Nearly new stall’? We’ll happily take these from you!
A big Thank you – A very big thank you to Stuart Bunn for his fantastic work in changing our old sandpit into a new garden, he kindly gave up his Sunday morning! We’ve attached a few pictures of this new area! Thank you.
Soil Needed – Do you know anyone that may have some extra soil to fill the old sandpit? We need to fill this new area ready for planting and would really appreciate a kind donation. Thank you.
