This Week in the OOSC – We had lots of fun this week! All the children have been involved in making lemon curd, there was a job for everyone. A big ‘Thank you’ to Kirsty Vigus-Humphrey (Hennie’s Mum) who came in to help the children with this activity, she was very patient and helped the children achieve their goal! The Breakfast Club tried out the Lemon Curd on their toast this morning, it was delicious.
Reminder! Easter Fayre – Saturday 19th March 11.00am – 1.00pm – We need you…. Can you help with any of the following….:
Donations for the Raffle and Tombola
Do you work for a company or know anyone who would like to donate a substantial prize for our Raffle, if you do, please can you speak to a member of the Committee. Thank you.
Bake a cake – Would you like to bake a cake for our Cake stall!
‘Nearly new stall’ for toys and books – Do you have any toys or books you could donate for our ‘Nearly new stall’? We’ll happily take these from you!
Online Safety – We have our guidelines to follow for our Safeguarding and thought it prudent to highlight security and gaming on the internet (inc phones & tablets). We’ve found a really useful Online Gaming guide we would like to share with you. To have a look, please go to: www.Kidsmart.org.uk. Select ‘I have kids’ > Download Childnet Resources > Download the Gaming Leaflet.
A big Thank you – Apologies for missing this last week but a very ‘big thank you’ to John Sowinski who helped construct the new bridge in the Playhouse garden! Your help was very much appreciated and you were definitely not forgotten!
Have a lovely weekend!
Kind regards
The Playhouse Team
