Letter & Sound of the Week – Our chosen letter next week will be ‘P’. Please can your child bring in an item which has a ‘p’.
Colour of the Week – Our next colour is YELLOW! Please can your child bring in a YELLOW item to share with us at Circle time!
Playhouse Activities This week – The children have been playing doctors and have been busy in our Playhouse Hospital. They’ve been using First Aid Kits and unfortunately, we’ve had lots of poorly patients. We’ve been discussing Autumn and have taken the children on an Autumn walk where we’ve collected lots of conkers. We’ve also had a good look at the changes within our environment. We have a lovely grey squirrel who keeps running along the Playhouse fence to collect the walnuts from our Walnut tree.
Playhouse Activities Next Week – Next week we’ll be making chocolate Hedgehog cakes and will be talking to the children about how some animals are getting ready for winter and hibernation. We’ll continue to look at healthy foods and will create a Healthy Food Chart. We’ll discuss which foods aren’t good if we eat too much!
