Letter & Sound of the Week – Our chosen letter for next week will be ‘ck’. Please can your child bring in an item beginning with ‘ck’.
Colour of the Week – Next week’s colour is YELLOW! Please can your child bring in a yellow item to share with us at Circle time?
Theme of the Week – Our theme for next week is ‘Self care’, where we will be encouraging your children to be more independent with their shoes and coats. We will be discussing teeth cleaning, toilets and all the fun stuff!!
Hot Lunches – John Clare Primary will be changing the Hot Lunches menu with effect from 10th November. Please obtain a copy from the Playhouse.
Invoice Payments – Please can you ensure that all outstanding invoice payments are cleared immediately? Thank you. Thank you to those who have already paid.
Christmas Nativity – The Christmas Nativity this year will be on the 18th December, more information to follow on timings and availability. Roles will be allocated to your child next week, this will be confirmed by letter. If your child does not want to participate, please do not worry, this is a fun event and we want all our children to enjoy themselves. Costumes do not have to be shop bought and if you would like any ideas, please contact a member of the team, tea towels work well in most situations!
BBC Children In Need – Friday 14th November is Children In Need, if you would like to join in the fun, the theme this year is ‘To be a Superhero’. For a £1.00 donation, your child can dress up as a Superhero or wear something ‘Spotty’. We look forward to seeing their outfits!
