Dear Parents / Carers

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Testing for COVID – If your child goes for a COVID test, please don’t forget to let us know. We need to report any cases to our Early Years Team for Track & Trace purposes and where required, we will notify parents, carers and staff if they need to self-isolate. This is really important to ensure that we can keep each other, our families and our staff safe. Thank you.

This Week – We have had both Chinese New Year and Valentine themes in OOSC this week. For Chinese New Year we made money envelopes and fortune tellers. On Thursday we had a Chinese restaurant role play and ate noodles with sweet and sour sauce for our snack. The children also constructed Chinese buildings using the plastic waffles. On Thursday we had a Valentine Treasure hunt in the garden which was great fun in the snow. We also made bracelets to give to someone we love. On Friday we started our last day, ready for school with some dancing to wake us up!

After Half Term – After Half Term we will baking with our own Big bake off and we will have some obstacle courses.

Have a lovely half term! Stay safe and well!
Kind regards
The Playhouse Team
