Reminder: Childcare Bubble – With effect from 6th November you can make a childcare bubble, this is informal childcare for children aged 13 or under from friends and family you do not live with. Impacts of the Pandemic – We thought it prudent to let you know that our daily activities in the Playhouse have changed with the current pandemic. On occasions it might take us longer to greet you at the Playhouse gates for drop off at Breakfast Club and/or collection from the OOSC. Mrs S and Miss Cole look after their ‘Bubbles’ and may be getting Breakfast ready, managing activities, and looking after children and may not be able to get to you as quickly as they would like. Other staff members may be present in the setting but, they are not able to interact with the ‘bubble’ or come to the gate on behalf of Mrs S or Miss Cole. We understand this is not ideal but, these restrictions are in place to protect your child, your family, and our staff. We appreciate your understanding and patience, and we endeavour to reach you as quickly as we can.
This Week – This week in OOSC it has been road safety week. We have had the small toy cars out and the large ride on cars to get the children thinking about using them safely around others. We have been playing the traffic light game and using chalk to draw roads around the garden. We have also started thinking about Christmas using glittery playdough to make Christmas shapes and making cakes for tea parties.
Next week – Next week will be sensory week and we will have lots of sensory activities for the children to take part in.
