Dear Parents / Carers
This Week in the OOSC – This week we had Homemade Soup Day & we made our tomato soup and bread. We had this for our snack on Wednesday. We did some painting and we also made models with or junk modelling.
Next Week in the OOSC – Next week we will be making some crafts for the special person we love to celebrate Valentine’s day. We will also be making biscuits.
Reminder Invoice Payments – Just a gentle reminder that if you are paying your invoices in instalments, the first one was due on 31st January 2020. If you have not yet paid, please can you make your payment as soon as possible. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact Sam.
Library – We have a new Library at the Playhouse which the Committee have fully supported and have funded lots of new books. All children have the opportunity to sign out a book, bring it home, read it and swap it for a new book when they’re ready. There is a wide selection of books to choose from. Literacy is so important. It is lovely to see the children going off into their own little corner of the Playhouse to read. A huge Thank you to our Committee and our Librarians!
Children’s Mental Health Week – The theme of this year’s Children’s Mental Health Week is Find your Brave. Life often throws challenges our way. Bravery isn’t about coping alone or holding things in. It’s about finding positive ways to deal with things that might be difficult, overcoming physical and mental challenges and looking after yourself.
