Letter of the Week – Our chosen letter for our next session is ‘a’! Please can your child bring in an item which has an ‘a’.
Makaton – Our chosen sign will be ‘food’.
Playhouse Activities This Week – This week we have been making and playing with chocolate play dough. We’ve had lots of visitors and new children starting, it’s been non- stop! We’ve had lots of tea parties and have been busy with woodwork. We’ve had lots of group games too!
Forest School This Week – Forest school will start again next week as we’ve had some more groundworks being completed!
Playhouse Activities Next Session – Next week we will be making cupcakes. Our theme for this term will be shapes. We’ll be looking at caring for our planet and we’ll be taking a look at the Rainforest, Deserts and the Artic over this term too!
Playhouse Gate – As we have a lot of new children starting with us we thought it prudent to remind you all about the Playhouse Gate. To ensure we comply with our safeguarding procedures please can you enter the Playhouse one family at a time and close the gate behind you. You will need to press the intercom and enter the Playhouse separately as we need to ensure we know who has entered our grounds. Please don’t be offended if the person in front of you closes the gate!
Playhouse Garden – During the Summer our planned works for the garden came to a sudden halt as we were let down by a gardening contractor. We would like to say a ‘Very Big Thank You’ to Silver Heron who stepped in at very short notice to help us out! They have done some amazing work. The turf will be ready very soon and we’re hoping that we can use this within the next few weeks … we want it to be ready before we use it so that we are not wasting the money we’ve spent making it such a fantastic area!
AGM – The Committee are holding our AGM on Wednesday 18th September 7.30pm at the Playhouse. Everyone is welcome & we look forward to seeing you there!
