Please find below this week’s Weekly Update!

Letter of the Week – Our chosen letter for our next session is ‘w’! Please can your child bring in an item which has a ‘w’!

Makaton – This is a language using signs and symbols; we are going to learn ‘mum / mummy’:

Playhouse Activities This Week – This week we have been looking at spring and we’ve been cleaning our vegetable beds ready for new plants. We’ve had great fun with our ‘shop’ role play, it’s been a great success. We’ve also had some beautiful rainbow pictures. Sally came to dance, they pretended to be at the beach and were using good toes bad toes. This week the staff have also had a twilight training session on behaviour management.

Playhouse Activities Next Session – Next week we have World Book day on Thursday, don’t forget your child can dress up as a character from their favourite book. We will look at Ramadan and what this is. We’ll be doing Harry Potter role play. We’ll celebrate pancake day; we’ll eat pancakes and we’ll have some pancake races.

A few diary dates – Here are a few dates for your diary:
Friday 15th March – Red Nose Day Bus Party –
Your child is welcome to wear red for the day for a £1.00 contribution to this great charity.
NEW: Monday 18th March – David will be visiting with his Guide dog. If your child is not in on this day, they are welcome to join us. Please can you be at the Playhouse for 9.50am.
Friday 29th March – Easter Service at St Botolph’s Church. Please come along and join us for our Easter Service at the village church. Family and friends are more than welcome, the more the merrier.
