Please find below this week’s Weekly Update!
Letter & Sound of the Week – Our chosen letter next week will be ‘B’. Please can your child bring in an item which has a ’B’.
Colour of the Week – Our next colour is grey! Please can your child bring in a grey item to share with us at Circle time!
Playhouse Activities This Week – We have had lots of fun this week making vegetable soup! We’ve also been painting pictures of our favourite things. We’ve already created an igloo, and the children have had lots of time playing in the igloo, talking about winter and how to keep warm.
Playhouse Activities Next Week – We will be making Muffin Pizza’s as requested by some of our children, both Preschool and OOSC! It’s RSPB week next week, so we’ll make a hide in the garden and will observe the different birds visiting the garden, we’ll also make some binoculars! We’ll be role playing post offices and we’ll be busy posting letters!
Committee Social Evening – Our Playhouse Committee would like to invite you to a social gathering at The Bluebell, Helpston from 7.30pm on Wednesday 3rd February. This is a great opportunity for you to meet other parents of the Playhouse, so please come along and have a drink and a chat!
Hot Lunches – Please ensure all lunches are booked on a Monday morning at the very latest, John Clare school are no longer able to accommodate last minute bookings. Many thanks for your help in this matter.

Helpston’s Got Talent – It’s back, this event raises valuable funds for both the Preschool and Out of School Clubs. Please help us by supporting this event on Saturday 27th February. Please contact Alexa Greene or a member of the Committee to enter or for tickets!
