Dear Parents / Carers

Letter & Sound of the Week – Our chosen letter next week will be ‘O’. Please can your child bring in an item which has an ’O’.

Colour of the Week – Our next colour is purple! Please can your child bring in a purple item to share with us at Circle time!

Playhouse Activities This Week – We will be making reindeer food to help the reindeers land outside your house on Christmas Eve! We’ll also be making bird feeders to help children understand the importance of looking after wildlife during these winter months. We will look at how people celebrate Christmas around the world and we’ll be making gingerbread men and women.

Playhouse Activities Next Week – We will continue with our Christmas activities next week and will decorate Christmas biscuits with icing! We also have both the Christmas show and the visit to church for our Christmas service.

Playhouse Xmas Fayre – This is being held on the 12th December in the Scout Hut, 1.00pm – 3.30pm. We look forward to seeing you there!! We also need your help – we need cakes (homebaked or shop bought) – all monies raised go to the Playhouse!

Severe Weather – Please see the attached flyer concerning the Playhouse procedures when there is severe weather, this is in conjunction with John Clare Primary.

Hot Lunches – There will be a Christmas Lunch on Thursday next week, so the menu selection for next week, is as follows: Mon – Lamb Moussaka : Tuesday – Breaded cod ; Wednesday – Sausages : Thursday – Christmas Lunch. There will be no hot lunch on Friday as we are holding the Christmas Party!

Staff news – You may see Lisa around the Playhouse after the new year, great news, she is going to be with us for one day a week.
