Dear Parents / Carers
Evening snacks – Here is the snack menu for our next session:
Monday – wholemeal rolls & choice of filling
Tuesday – tomato soup & wholemeal bread
Wednesday – jacket potato & salad
Thursday – whole wheat pasta
Friday – spaghetti hoops & wholemeal toast
There is a choice of salad sticks and fruit available to your children. They also have a choice of milk or water to drink.
Next week in the OOSC – We will be celebrating Diwali, the Festival of Light! We will be making some Indian breads and snacks to share. We will also be making ‘Diyas’; these are small lamps which are used during this celebration and we’ll have a go at making sweets called ‘Laddoo’.
This Week in the OOSC – We’ve been celebrating Guy Fawkes this week by making ‘explosions in a bag’ and we’ve also enjoyed eating sausages and Bonfire mash!
Christmas Play Rehearsals – If your child is in the OOSC on a Monday, don’t forget to let us know if your child is taking part in these rehearsals!
