Dear Parents / Carers

Letter & Sound of the Week – Our chosen letter next week will be ‘h’. Please can your child bring in an item which has an ’h’.

Colour of the Week – Our next colour is black! Please can your child bring in a black item to share with us at Circle time!

Playhouse Activities This Week – This week we’ve been making firework decorations and cakes with popping candy. The children have been busy practising their fine motor skills using tweezers and beans!

Playhouse Activities Next Week – We’ll be celebrating Diwali, the Festival of light. We’ll be creating elephants and making Indian bread.

Friday 13th November is Children in Need, for £1 donation your child can come dressed in spots or stripes!

Christmas Cards – We’ll be handing out your child’s fantastic Christmas designs over the next few days. You can purchase cards, gift tags, mugs and tea towels making really personal gifts for family and friends this Christmas. Each item purchased will raise money for the Playhouse and the OOSC. Please return your orders with the correct payment by 13thNovember 2015. Cheques to be made payable to Helpston Playhouse. Thank you.

It’s getting colder – Please can you ensure your child has a warm winter coat, we spend a great deal of time outside and we’re finding that a fleece isn’t quite sufficient to keep your child warm.

Head lice – We’ve had an instance of Head Lice being reported at the Playhouse, please can you check your child’s head and take the appropriate action. Many thanks.

Christmas Service – We will be holding our Christmas Service at St Botolph’s Church on 17th December at 2.00pm. We would love to see as many family and friends as possible, the more the merrier so please put this date in your diary!

Have a lovely weekend!

Kind regards

The Playhouse Team
